Balanced. Savory. Precise.

  • Silver Award — New York World Olive Oil Competition 2026

Tasting Notes

Dell'Orto Classic opens with fresh green aromas — artichoke heart and crushed olive leaf.

This is followed by a measured bitterness that signals freshness and quality. The finish is clean and lightly peppery, lingering just long enough to enhance the dish without overpowering it.

Olive Varietals

Dell'Orto Classic is a carefully composed blend of native and traditional Italian olives:

Frantoio brings structure and freshness with clean green bitterness. Leccino softens the profile with roundness and subtle sweetness. Carpellese is a rare local variety that adds herbal depth and a gentle peppery finish.

Together these varietals create an oil that is expressive without being aggressive — harmonious, food driven, and unmistakably Italian.

How to Use It

This is an olive oil meant to live on the counter, not tucked away in a cupboard.

Drizzle over salads, burrata, and fresh vegetables. Finish on pasta, risotto, and legumes. Pair simply with crusty bread and sea salt. Use for sautéing and everyday cooking where flavor matters.

If you cook often and care about how your food tastes, this is the bottle you will reach for most.

Our Story

Dell'Orto has been producing olive oil in Oliveto Citra, Campania since 1870. Polidoro and Sergio Dell'Orto are the fourth generation to tend these groves — groves that include trees planted by their great-grandfather Vito, who founded the mill nearly 155 years ago.

From hand-operated winches to today's continuous-cycle cold-extraction system, the technology has evolved constantly. The commitment to quality never has.
