Dell'Orto Piccant (hot) Olive Oils are sold only in dark bottles, and labeled with "harvest year" and "best if used by date" for freshness. The 2023/2024 harvest date has a best if used by date of 2026.

The oil is a combination of extra virgin olive oil infused with hot red chili peppers...always made with fresh ingredients and never artificially flavored. For those who like things 'piccante' (hot & spicy), the oil has an extraordinary taste with a smooth kick.     I'm usually not a fan of hot and spicy, but in this case I have to make an exception. I have used this oil over and over for several dishes. It is absolutely delicious! First of all, it's not overly hot and spicy, and secondly, it's so flavorful! Our family is so pleased with the variety of Del'Orto Olive Oil's, that we won't be using anything else but these!
